I have had a fascination with photography since I was a teenager, initially as a means to take photos of friends and family. I became interested in serious photography, specifically sports photography, in 1993 when the Hawaii Winter League came to Hilo, the town where I live. Soon after I began to take photographs for the University of Hawai'i at Hilo athletic department, both studio portraits and action shots. Since 2001, after purchasing my first digital camera (a Sony Mavica), I started to focus more on my photography. Like many photographers who have made the move from analog cameras, the digital camera has made my life as a photographer so much easier and enjoyable: no more waiting to see if I have any good shots as I can instantly see the result of my effort.

	You are welcomed to view the photo galleries. Please feel free to send me your comments (both positive and negative) as all constructive critisim is more than appreciated. I feel that I am still a novice photographer and can use all input to help me become a better photographer. The cameras that I currently use are a Nikon D200, a Nikon D100 and a Nikon D70s. I have always used a Nikon and I will be getting myself another one. A professional photographer once told me it doesn't matter what brand of camera one uses if he/she doesn't have the eye for photography. He also told me to just keep on shooting as much as I can, something that can easily be done with a digital camera.

It's finally come to this, the wife said that I am spending too much money on my so called "hobby". Click on the link above to browse the sports gallery. There are photographs of local high school and university sports events available for purchase. We currently sell 4"x6", 5"x7" and 8"x10" prints, and hope to have other sizes available in the future. We accept money orders or checks by mail and credit cards or Paypal payments through the Paypal website. A Paypal account is not necessary to pay with a credit card. Orders generally take three days to process for 4"x6" prints and four days for 5"x7" and 8"x10" prints. All orders are shipped USPS Airmail unless other arrangements are made.
